The whole idea started with set of farm animals on a shirt. Then Wendy told me how her daughter always wore her Elmo underwear backwards - so she could see his face, naturally.
Then we started exploring how children view things, seeing the opportunity to put something in their field of vision that would be helpful. Like the letters from A-Z with a simple word called out - All upside down, so they can see it proper.
And that is how the Train "Smart-Tee" was born. It is handscreened on American Apparel shirts for kids.
